Head Chef Wanted

Start: September 2025 | Opening: October 1, 2025 | 40 hours | Amsterdam Zuid

Restaurant Hendrik is opening a second location on Ruysdaelstraat. After three years in Vreeland, we’re bringing our concept—pancakes as the foundation, complemented by a small menu full of care and flavor—to Amsterdam. No frills, just quality and hospitality.

We are looking for a head chef who wants to be involved from the planning stage onward.

What are you going to do?

  • You will manage the kitchen independently
  • You put together your own team
  • You'll work with us to monitor the card and margins
  • You'll handle purchasing, schedules, and HACCP, and manage the team
  • You contribute ideas on business operations

Who We're Looking For

  • You have experience as a (sous) chef and are a natural leader
  • You work in a structured, organized, and practical manner
  • You have an eye for simplicity, good taste, and quality
  • You are loyal, eager to learn, and want to grow with us
  • You speak Dutch or are fluent in English
